The repower center is one of our primary areas of concentration. We have assembled teams of performance, stern drive and outboard specialists to each project. Teams assigned to a repower project will remain with that project until its completion. Team members are not removed from the job to handle other tasks. We found this work process results in the highest quality workmanship and assures timely completion of the repower project.

All structural modifications and associate component fabrication is performed on-site, thereby controlling costs and eliminating the potential for sub-contractor delays.

1991 Sonic 31 SS

1985 Tiara 27 "Another Toy"

The old Crusader 350's gave out but the highly built boat did not. The owner of "Another Toy" asked Team Grover to install NEW 2001 Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI Horizons. They delivered the boat to a thrilled owner. He is getting much faster acceleration and higher speeds all along a very smooth power curve. The old cruise at 19 knots is blown away with the new 24 knot cruise at 3200 RPM. Quick, reliable starting and efficient fuel consumption combined with a closed cooling system make this boat the pride of the fleet.

 

1988 Sea Ray 270 Amberjack

1988 Sea Ray 270 Amberjack had tired engines. The owner determined that after looking at new boats, he preferred his own. The new ones offered poor construction and materials at extremely high prices. Team Grover installed NEW 2001 Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI Horizons and Bravo I drives. This boat now delivers quick starting, high fuel economy, rapid acceleration, and cruises at 32 MPH, tops out at 45 MPH. The standard closed cooling system will help deliver many years of reliable, low maintenance operation.

1988 Formula 292 SR-1

The owner of this very clean boat wanted better overall performance and relied on Grover's Team to deliver. They removed the original Merc 7.4's and Bravo drives that ran the boat to 43 MPH cruise, 66 MPH top. The NEW power is Twin Merc 6.2 MX MPI and Bravo I with 23" Mirage Plus props. The boat now cruises at 50 MPH and tops at 70 MPH! Thrilling acceleration, smooth performance, and efficient consumption.

 

1994 Cigarette 38 Top Gun "BREAKOUT"

The high performance team at Grover's removed the old Merc 502's and drives, gauges, controls and more. They installed NEW 2001 Merc 500 EFI engines with XR drives.OLD cruise @ 45 mph, top @ 65 mph.NEW cruise @ 54 mph, top @ 74 mph.They also installed NEW TEague exhaust, GIL strainers, Latham controls, Mayfair steering, Gaffrig Tattletale & gauges, IMCO drive showers, seat stands, railings, swim platform, and fresh paint for the graphics.

1977 Mako 21

This classic, proven hull was revived with a NEW 2001 Mercury 225. Powerful and fast in this strong, dry ride.

1996 Cigarette 38 Top Gun
